What this guide covers
The S63 is the twin-turbo V8 in the M5, M6, X5 M, and X6 M. Early and later engines, including the F90 unit, are different builds.
These are high-value units. The photographs and the code matter more than a short advert.
Fitment
An E70 X5 M engine and an F90 M5 engine are not interchangeable. The sump, the turbos, and the oil system changed.

Warranty
Eligible engines carry a warranty of up to 12 months after a correct installation by a workshop. The warranty covers eligible internal failure. It does not cover a mismatched fitment, a dry start, the wrong oil, or damage caused after the crate is opened.
